Introducing the Midnight Glenmore Sock by Eight Yards & House of Cheviot
In partnership with the renowned Scottish sock manufacturer House of Cheviot, we at Eight Yards are proud to unveil the Midnight Glenmore sock. Designed to meet the needs of our customers and team, this new addition perfectly complements the modern tartans that have grown increasingly popular—especially those with muted colours and grey bases, like our popular Midnight Tweed Crail jacket.
Our customers and team noticed that existing navy sock options didn’t quite match the deep, refined tones of these modern tartans. In response, we developed the Midnight Glenmore sock by twisting navy yarn with charcoal to create a more muted shade, perfectly in sync with the jacket’s contemporary style.
At Eight Yards, if something you need doesn’t exist, we will strive to create it for you—keeping innovation, tradition, and your style at the heart of everything we do.

Our domestic orders are sent via standard second-class post, recorded or by courier tracked & signed for.
International orders are shipped using the Royal Mail tracked service or by courier which is normally DPD.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase & are fully refundable or exchangeable, subject to the item having not been worn. Please return the item(s) in its original packaging & condition with the receipt or order reference.
