The quaich has been part of Scottish tradition for centuries, known as the Scottish cup of welcome. Visitors would be greeted with whisky and invited to drink from each side of the two-handled bowl, a gesture of warmth and hospitality that remains as meaningful today as it ever was.
This mini pewter quaich is handmade in Scotland and features a polished bowl with a scottish thistle at its centre, celtic knotwork on the handles, and celtic banding encircling the bowl. It is a beautifully proportioned piece measuring 7.5cm handle to handle and 4.5cm across the bowl.
Supplied in a presentation box as standard, it makes a thoughtful and traditional Scottish gift for weddings, christenings, anniversaries, and any occasion worth marking.
