This kilt pin is made from genuine Scottish Staghorn and finished with a Blackwood cap. The horn used for this kilt pin is fallen, or shed staghorn. Due to the nature of this product the style and colour of the horn may vary.

The stags shed their antlers each year. As a result the use of staghorn does not cause any harm or endanger the species.
